CMG School Council

Club of Students, Parents and Friends of CMG

Its objective is to cooperate with the school in order to achieve goals set by the school, support the students from socially deprived background as well as extraordinarily talented students, participate in providing organisation and funding of extracurricular and leisure-time activities of students. Every legitimate representative of a student, every adult student or just any adult person who wants to actively participate in school's activities can become a member. There is a chairman who summons meetings of the club council. The council sits 8 times a year, each class has 2 representatives in the council. 'Strategy of Personality Development' Project

In September 2007 CMG was the first school in the Czech Republic which started teaching a completely new subject called Strategy of Personality Development (SPD). This subject involves not only advancement of knowlege and understanding but especially a complex development of the whole personality which should be heplful in reaching personal maturity of each individual. Unique content of the new subject as well as utilization of self-recognition and experience methods will lead to acquiring skills, knowledge and habits which would help the students to identify themselves and find ways how to actively develop their personalities. The aim of this new subject also is to help the students acquire the most important practical techniques which would significantly facilitate their way to a complex and systematic development of their personalities. A new original textbook is available for our students, written by our long-standing associate Mojmír Voráč in cooperation with CMG teachers - Alexandra Markovičová and Pavel Polcr. A personality portfolio - a diary of the personality development of the student - is part of the textbook. The new subject results from the project called ''Happiness Originates Inside'', which is cofinanced by the European Social Fund and the Czech Republic National Budget.
